One thing I have a problem with in OS X is the absence of this great Linux feature where you just have to hightlight something (word, URL or anything highlightable) for it to be copied to the clipboard.
Then you can easy paste it just by middle clicking.
I posted to ask about this in the MacRumors forums but it appears it just isn't available.
Nevetheless, what was suggested about using about using cmd-C and cmd-V to copy/paste sounds good. I'll start using that.
