Network driver for Haiku on EeePC 901

I got an email from the developer of this driver today to say that the driver is now fully-functional and available for download.
However, I tried it a number of times in both Senryu and Haiku on the EeePC 901 and it just didn't work. Indeed, it seemed exactly like the previous one which definitely was non-functional.
The developer seemed to say, however, that the new driver will be incorporated in the kernel for the upcoming r28752 release of Haiku which I would expect in a day or two.
So, maybe my long wait is drawing to an end.
With the speed, liteness and many great features of Haiku/Senryu, having this with internet would be quite an experience. I can't wait.
