Thursday, September 17, 2009 on AMD64 computer with SiS190 card

I'd been trying to get working on this box (with only Windows XP installed and --or so I thought-- no bootable CD drive) for a while but ran into driver problems as outlined in this thread.
However, developer Thomas Miletich helped me out and provided a version of gpxe.dsk that creates a bootable floppy that is compatible with the driver for SiS190 network card.
This worked great for me and allowed me to netboot to Parted Magic and partition the HDD on this AMD64 box. How cool is that?
Well, it would have been were it not for the lamentably slow download rates from However, this is a great project which AFAIK is a very active work-in-progress.
