Installing Tasque in Ubuntu Eee

I had already posted on the installation of tasque in Ubuntu but, as I discovered in trying to install it today on my EeePC, I didn't write it very clearly.
So here are steps again with more precision:

1. Download the tasque deb (tasque_0.1.5-1_i386.deb)from here and install.
2. Add this repo to /etc/apt/sources.list
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/banshee-team/ubuntu hardy main
3. After updating, install these three dependencies:

mono-gmcs
libnotify0.4-cil
libgtk2.0-dev

...and that's it. Tasque should now work although you will have to connect to RTM first and login.

Gnome-do Tasque plugin

I'm not a big gnome-do user. However that may be about to change as I just discovered the Tasque plugin.
To activate this, you need to have Gnome-do 0.5.0 and Tasque 0.1.6 (actually, I think 0.1.5 will do as well). then just go into the Gnome-do preferences and activate all the plugins that you want, including , of course, Tasque.
Now here's the amazing part. If you think of something you'd like to scrawl onto your todo list, but don't want to be bothered opening Tasque and, well, doing it properly, you can just super-space into Gnome-do and type your task. What's fascinating is that it knows pretty soon that this is a task and automatically enters it into Tasque. Of course, no schedule date or priority is assigned but you can do these later as you've been able to get the principal information into your list.
The reason it knows is because it has learnt from your past activities that you're a Tasque kind of guy (or girl) and that this is most likely what you intend. On the other hand, if you're big into Tomboy, it's more likely to scribble your stuff in there instead.
This really is a sort of artificial intelligence. I'm highly impressed and can see myself using Gnome-do a lot more in the future.

Installing Tasque on Ubuntu Hardy

Surprisingly, this wasn't as straightforward as it was on Foresight.
Nevertheless, I came across this post which linked to a .deb and points to a dependency without which Tasque just won't work in Ubuntu.

Tasque

I came across Tasque in the Foresight forums. It's no more than a front-end for Remember the Milk.
But as I'm now a big RTM user, I tried it out and it's not too bad. It additionally allows you to see all of your completed tasks and the ToDo tasks are arranged better than in RTM (in my opinion).
I'll certainly try this for the moment at least.
Another good thing about it is that it stays in the AWN dock which is nice.
I watched a video demo and it said it allows you to drag-n-drop tasks (and even Tomboy notes) to another user who you can see is online. Haven't tried this myself but sounds exciting.
Also apparently it can also be a frontend for MySQL although, again, I've no idea about this.
