Virtualization in Ubuntu Hardy

As I wrote yesterday, I couldn't get VMware Server to compile in Hardy.
So, I tried both Qemu and Virtualbox, both of which are available in the Hardy repos.
Both are easy to install and Haiku (or Senryu) have VM versions for both Qemu and Virtualbox from here.
However, I could only get Qemu to work with Senryu although I still couldn't get an internet connection.
No option to switch from Nat to Bridged (which is what got the internet connected for me in VMware Server) is available and I didn't spend long enough with it to really explore other options.
Virtualbox, I just couldn't get anything to work although, once again, I spent very little time at it.
