As I'm in the process of getting the multiboot system on my MacBook back, rEFIt will play a central part in this.
Interestingly, the guy that replaced the damaged HD on my MacBook claimed that perhaps rEFIt had something to do with its demise.
He said that the only other experience he had of somebody losing two HDs within the 1-year guarantee period was on a MacBook with Linux/rEFIt installed.
Personally, I think this is ridiculous but, then again, this guy was unaware that my MacBook had been dropped n the two occasions that I lost the HD.
